About Us

We, Karen and Steven, came to be farmers by accident. Newlywed and living in a big city, we were ready for an adventure when Karen was offered a fun job, right out of the blue, here in Vermont. Steven was willing to go, on the condition that they live in a beautiful place. Through extraordinary good luck, that has come to pass.

What started as a kitchen garden fed from a tiny stream grew into this enterprise over the years. Any why not? Turns out we like to eat good food and to support the health of our friends, neighbors and the planet. We are grateful for our good fortune.
